Every law is a reflection of the soul of the people. The Constitution of Ukraine is not just a legal document, it is a philosophy of our coexistence. It is based on a unique paradigm: absolute freedom of the individual, which is harmoniously combined with deep respect for the freedom of others. We are different, we have the right to our own opinion, but we are united in our right to be free. Article 34 of the Constitution of Ukraine: “Everyone is guaranteed the right to freedom of thought and speech, to freely express their views and beliefs.” And Article 28 reminds us that “Everyone has the right to respect for their dignity.” This is our main national code: to respect the dignity of others, even when our opinions differ. The wisdom of our Constitution lies in the fact that it does not unify us, but protects our right to be ourselves. It recognizes that the strength of Ukraine is in the diversity of views, united by a common respect for the law and human life. This is a balance between the personal “I” and the common “we.” |
Today, we defend these rights and freedoms recorded on paper with weapons in our hands. Every article of the Basic Law is now washed with the blood of our heroes. We are not just defending the borders - we are fighting for the right to live in a country where a person, his life, health, honor and dignity are the highest social value.
Happy Constitution Day of Ukraine! May respect for each other make us stronger, and freedom will always be our compass. Glory to Ukraine!
