What is insured?

Property interests of individuals that do not contradict the legislation of Ukraine and related to:

• life, health and working capacity, namely, with unpredictable expenses arising from the need to provide medical and medical transport assistance due to the occurrence of an insured event;
• the risk of losses, incurring additional costs as a result of the occurrence of an insured event;
• unforeseen expenses arising in connection with the need to provide medical and medical transport assistance due to the occurrence of an insured event related to Covid-19.

Who can be the insured?

A capable individual, resident or non-resident of Ukraine, a stateless person, as well as a legal entity, regardless of the form of ownership.

Who can be the insured Person?

Non-residents of Ukraine aged 1 to 75 years.

Insurance risks:

1. Emergency inpatient care (organization and payment of medical care in a round-the-clock hospital in conditions requiring emergency medical care, failure to provide which may lead to death or irreversible changes in the body);
2. Outpatient and hospital care;
3. Medication provision (provision of medicines recommended by the attending physician, necessary for treatment in an outpatient clinic);
4. One telemedicine consultation during the observation period;
5. Concierge service Covid-19: Providing information about data on diseases in Ukraine and the world, symptoms of Covid-19, actions in case of suspected infection, background information (contact details of hospitals, pharmacies, etc.), other questions on Covid-19.
6. Organization of the following services: search and delivery of medicines, search for hospitals, doctors, organization of consultations, organization of telemedicine consultations, consultation of laboratory and instrumental studies, any other organization of medical services.

Insured events:

The insurance event is medical expenses, depending on the Insurance Program, for services provided to the Insured Party in the course of treatment of COVID-19 coronavirus disease, starting from the moment of laboratory confirmation by polymerase chain reaction of such disease.

Such services shall include:

• outpatient care: specialist consultations, medical staff services;
• medical support for outpatient care;
• emergency inpatient care:
  • specialist consultations, medical staff services;
  • laboratory and instrumental research;
  • conservative and operative treatment;
  • provision of medicines and consumables;
  • stay in the ward (including in the intensive care unit);
  • food during the stay in the hospital according to the standards adopted in this medical institution;
  • stay of one of the parents in the hospital together with a child who is an Insured Person under the Agreement and whose age is less than 6 (six) years.
• telemedicine consultation - no more than one during the observation period.

The amount of insurance

Installed by agreement of the parties from 5,000 to 30,000 UAH.

Insurance payment

From 4.53 to 37.5 UAH per day.

What does the cost of insurance depend on? 

From the chosen insurance program, the sum insured, the insurance period, the number of insured persons, the age of the insured and the presence of a deductible.

Contract time

From 1 to 365 days.

Territory of the agreement

Ukraine.

Documents required for the execution of the contract

• For the foreign citizens - passport.
• For the policyholders of citizens of Ukraine - passport and certificate of assignment identification number.
