YOUR ACTIONS IN THE EVENT OF AN INSURANCE EVENT (MCLIFOOLV)

1. Turn on the emergency alarm and display the emergency stop sign.

2. Provide first aid to the injured and, if necessary, call emergency medical services.

3. Report the accident to the National Police of Ukraine (tel. 102). You can also entrust the call of all necessary services to the Information Center of the insurance company.

REMEMBER!

Do not take the car from the scene of the accident, do not move objects related to the event, before the arrival of the National Police of Ukraine. You will be able to evacuate the car from the scene of the accident only after the fact of the accident has been documented by representatives of the National Police of Ukraine and after obtaining the appropriate permission from them.

Employees of the National Police of Ukraine, with your personal participation, are obliged to draw up the following documents:

• traffic accident inspection site report;
• road accident diagram;
• certificate of damage to the car with a detailed description of the damage.

4. Write down vehicle registration numbers, full names, telephone numbers, addresses of participants and eyewitnesses of the traffic accident, as well as data of employees of the National Police of Ukraine. It is necessary to find out the availability of compulsory civil liability insurance policies for the owners of land vehicles among the participants in road accidents, write down the number, date of conclusion of the policy and the name of the insurance company.

5. Call the information center of the insurance company to register an insurance case and receive qualified specialist advice.

6. Do not agree to the offer of compensation for material damage by the party guilty of the accident without registering the event and conducting an inspection of the damaged vehicle by relevant specialists (experts/service station employees) and drawing up cost estimates for restorative repairs.

7. In case of theft of a vehicle, trailer, components or equipment, as well as in case of other illegal actions by third parties, make a written statement to the National Police unit and obtain a relevant certificate.

8. Within 3 (three) working days from the date of occurrence of the insured event, apply to the insurance company for a written statement about the occurrence of an event that has signs of an insured event.

9. Submit your damaged vehicle for inspection to the insurance company (in no case do not start restorative repairs without the agreement of the insurance company).
